As of today, I’ve been posting on this blog for three years.
Since last year, I’ve feel like I did two important things on WordPress. 1) I posted real, honest things — from the heart, and 2) I talked to some real nice people on here.
Since coming to college, I found it difficult to articulate my feelings of change. But I gradually remembered the important of personal writing, especially in lieu of my currently-complicated relationship with fiction writing.
In introducing myself to my new peers, I sometimes mentioned that I had a blog. I usually regretted this immediately and felt self-conscious. Not because running a blog is embarrassingly pretentious or anything — but because I realized that my blog is so deeply personal to me. An online diary for myself and yet for everyone.
So although, as always, I write for my own pleasure and sanity, I am delighted to share my journey with you.
