2022 Music

Feat. Spotify Wrapped and more!

Now I feel is a fitting time to lift up the music that accompanied me this year

SCREAMING at The Batman film soundtrack appearing as my #1 🙈 I was enamored by the movie and listened to the soundtrack a lot while studying for medical school!

Otherwise, no big surprises here. ODESZA’s Last Goodbye album was one of the most memorable this year. I saw MK in concert right before I started school (my first Brooklyn concert!).

This year, I don’t think I branched out musically too much. I haven’t even really been keeping up with my Discovery Weekly curated playlist. However, I’ve been picking up more songs that I overhear at the new cafes I frequent—interesting and fun!

(I’m glad Spotify sorted out their genre analysis this year. In the past they often featured very niche subgenres. I think this (2022) is the clearest it has ever been)
